"Brokedown Palace" w/ David Bryan & friends

June 1, 2014

I am delighted to announce that I have been invited to perform as a special guest along with my friend and colleague David Bryan at a historic concert celebrating the musical legacy of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead.  The show will take place in the historic sanctuary of St. Bartholemew's Episcopal Church on Park Ave. in midtown, as part of the Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Concert Series.

David is a fellow alum of Union Theological Seminary who wrote his thesis on Grateful Dead theology.  A brilliant composer and musician in his own right, he specializes in crafting beautiful arrangements of both well-known and more obscure Grateful Dead songs that highlight their lyrical depth and musical complexity.

We will be joined for this show by some incredibly talented and well-known instrumentalists from around the city, including Kenny Brooks of Ratdog on the saxaphone.

The concert will be at 7:30 pm on Friday, August 8th.  Tickets are available online at, http://www.stbarts.org/songstofilltheair/, by phone at 212-378-0242, and at St. Bart's box office.

Here is a promo video we just shot at the sanctuary at St. Barth's.
